DEJA VU

I have my favorite stalls at Deja Vu and this is one of them. The guys restore old furniture beautifully. They always have something that catches my eye. If only I had a huge house.

One of my favorite vegan and vegetarian food, etc. blogs - http://www.sweetonveg.com/. Jennifer always has something expiring, check it out.

I booked our Spring vacation. We are not traveling very far, going to southern Indiana, just to get away and relax. Tired of driving 1000 kilometers to get to our destinations.

Book (short stories) I am reading this week - The Artist of Disappearance by Anita Desai.

Our snow has disappeared again and we have beautiful sunshine, although it is cold.

What are your plans for Spring?
* * *
I have a surprise and will tell you about it in my next post.

Have a nice weekend!

  2. Heidi, The vegan food looks really tempting and as my brother is vegan I need inspiration for when he visits! We haven't any plans for Spring but, like you, we won't be travelling far.

Enjoy that sunshine and the rest of your weekend! Elaine

  5. I would have a hard time carrying all my shoppings out of that store! :)

Can't wait to hear about your trip when the time comes, and about that surprise you mentioned.

We actually don't have much planned for the spring. I'm hoping we could get away 'ex tempore', without too much planning ahead. That depends whether my husband can get days off from his busy job. We'll just have to wait and see! :)

  6. Many fun and whimsical items in that store. The fact that it's far away from Warsaw is good for my wallet :-).

  7. I hope you found something to take home. I saw several things to love. I love short stories. With my schedule I sometime need something I can put down and come back to later. Hope you've had a perfect weekend. Bonnie

  13. Hello Heidi! I see your interesting and lovely photos on my flickr stream and regretfully, I don't always comment. I hope to remedy that.

I love these retro offerings too! Don't let a small house prevent you from acquiring a few -- I don't! :) Have a wonderful day!

  14. I love surprises! Can't wait to hear what yours is :)
Please don't talk about your Spring too soon, because that means Autumn for us and I'm not ready for all of those piles of fallen leaves just yet! I couldn't agree more about having a relaxing vacation closer to home. I, too, find the great distances destroy the effect when it comes to the homeward bound leg. I am delighted you've shared a vegan/vegetarian link, since several members of my family (my Dad, my son, two nephews and my niece are all vegan/veg).

  15. Thank you so much, Heidi! I appreciate your kind words and support very much.

That lamp is lovely. I would like to have something like that in my apartment. And those turquoise chairs...! :)

    Angela
