At Scotty's

 Pineapple Salsa Tilapia

We had dinner at Scotty's Brewhouse.
Dessert was to "die" for, it is called "Death by Brownie". It's a rich chocolate brownie, topped with vanilla ice cream, chocolate syrup, and whipped cream. No one person could eat all that alone!

My friend Anna from Finland has a beautiful blog. Life by Ansku, check it out. Her pics are gorgeous. Right now she is busy biking for many kilometers.
She has another blog Mum & Mine. Anna, her mom, and her 90-year old grandmother knit the most beautiful socks, mittens, hats, etc. and sell it on Etsy. Have a look. (I own some of their beautiful items.)

I have lots of reading planned for this weekend. Started a new book yesterday "Someone Else's Garden by Dipika Rai.

Have a great 4th of July!

  2. Heidi, you are so sweet to mention my blog on yours, thank you! I have to add you are one of the kindest customers we've had, and we do appreciate that. Also, I really love your blog posts - whether they are about beautiful views, little Gracie or those delicious meals! (That dessert IS to die for!!)

I have had a lazy first day of my summer holiday, and now I crave for ice cream... If this continues I will probably gain a lot of weight by the end of the summer - better get on the bicycle as often as I can! ;)

  4. Hi Heidi: I'm a Virginian transplanted to Indiana! I know Lafayette very, very well. Our younger son graduated from Purdue and his wife is getting her PhD through Purdue. They are living elsewhere now and I miss visiting them. We live about 70 miles north of you and about 30 miles south of Chicago. I'm so glad you stopped by my blog. Please come back.

    Best,
    Bonnie
