Last night we went to Shaukin, our favorite Indian Restaurant. The food is so delicious. The owners, Himanshu and Minal, are the nicest people ever. And they spoil me with special treats.
The restaurant started out in a small place, not far from where we live, but they have moved closer to Purdue University to serve the students better.
If you are ever in the area, check it out.
Enjoy your Sunday and have a great week ahead!
It looks like a very interesting place and I'm sure their dishes are delicious!

Liebe Heidi,

I would love to be able to eat Indian food. It always looks so wonderful. However, curry doesn't like me very much. One day I may have to try it once again. Thanks, Bonnie
ReplyDeletelooks inviting, never tried it much
ReplyDeleteThat looks like a great place to go for a meal and your dinner looks delicious.
ReplyDeleteLooks so good, Heidi!
ReplyDeleteHeidi,
ReplyDeleteI have always wanted to try Indian food. Nel loves it. The food looks so delicious in these pictures. Isn't it nice when our favorite restaurants treat us with favor? It makes it all the more special.

I love Indian food. We have our own favourite restaurant which only serves veggie, as it is South Indian. That suits us because we prefer to eat veggie. I often wonder what is in the sweets though, they are always such bright colours !
ReplyDeleteLiebe Heidi,
You ask some good questions here and bring up some interesting points. Thank-you.

You know, I don't think I've ever had Indian food. It's not very common around here - perhaps in bigger cities around our country, but not in small towns like ours. I definitely should try it out some day! Perhaps I could find a nice recipe and try cooking it myself :)
ReplyDeleteThe food looks yummy. Always great to find a friendly place to eat. Have a great day :)
ReplyDeletewonderful pictures! the food looks delicious!!
