We had lunch at Panera Bread. With it being so cold, soup and sandwich was just what we needed. Trying to continue to eat really healthy this year, so Panera was just right, with it being the healthiest fast food Restaurant in the US. Try it, if you have never been there. They also have a fantastic breakfast menu (spinach souffle) and their coffee is delicious. You also might want to take home some of their bagels, they are very yummy.

We received at least 4 inches of snow today and by the end of the week the temperatures will go down way below zero Fahrenheit. Brrrrr....

Have a look here at my friend Andrea's blog. She was very busy making scarves. They are beautiful and the grey one will be mine. Cannot wait to wear it. Thank you Andrea!

Only three weeks left and my nephew from Paris will come for a visit on his way to San Diego. Looking sooooooo forward to it.

Hallo Heidi,
Hartmut

I am hoping to send your scarf out today! Made it through day two of mid-terms. Sure makes a person tired. Stay warm. I wish we had a Panera close to our house.
ReplyDeleteThat food looks yummy! I do like their bagels, when my Mom visits, we always go there.
ReplyDeleteSoup is good on cold days, I'll most likely be making some tonight when I get home from work.
Have a good rest of the week!
Blessings,
Renee
Heidi, we have a Panera right here in our town! It opened up around Christmas. I LOVE their tomato soup! Very good on a cold day here, but we aren't as cold as you!!! Thank you for stopping by my desert blog!

Panera is so good, I always get these huge loaves of rye when I am near one.The closest one to me is 90 miles. The hardship of living in the middle of nowhere. I make all of my breads otherwise during the cold weather.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures, inspiring posts... yeah, I've dropped by the right place :)
ReplyDeleteHave a nice day!
Hi Heidi, Thanks for stopping in and commenting on my blog.
ReplyDeleteI got a Panera gift card for Christmas. As soon as all this snow is out of here, I plan on paying them a visit. :D Looks good!
This looks like a delicious comfort meal.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad that you'll be getting to visit with your nephew soon!
it looks so good! and healthy!
ReplyDeleteHeidi -- I wanted to let you know that you won the giveaway on my blog. I posted about it today. Congratulations!
ReplyDeleteWelcome to Indiana, and thank you for stopping by my blog. =) We travel through Lafayette on a regular basis as my husband's family lives up by the southern tip of Lake Michigan. Like your husband, we too, are Hoosiers by birth.
ReplyDeleteYour Panera photos are very inviting. The soup and sandwich look hearty and perfect for the kind of weather we are having.
I'll be back to visit your blog again. Stay warm! =)
