As you can tell, I love avocados and chives. I think I could eat avocados every day, so yummy. Jennifer, one of my blogger friends, is another avocado lover.

Yesterday, I spent most of the day outside, cleaning up everything and getting ready for winter. Less than two weeks and we well be going on vacation to Virginia.

My favorite blog this week The Little Book of Nessie.

My favorite crafter is Andrea.

The book I am reading right now is Oogy, what a hearbreaking story. It is always amazing how an abused animal will ever trust a human again. If you get a chance, please read the book.

Wish you all a wonderful week!

See you soon!
Nice if you can get them fresh, it is hard here, you take your chances. When I lived in CA a neighbor had 6 trees so I did eat them often.I like to make tostadas with them, or top off a soup.
ReplyDeleteOut on the prairie...That sounds great, avocados directly from the tree, I would love that. I have to try topping off a soup with them.
ReplyDeleteI also love avocados. Haven't tried them with chives yet, I often make guacamole. The Oogy book sounds interesting.
ReplyDeleteHello! Just came through your blog from another we both follow....and I love your photos.
ReplyDeleteI too am an avocado fan. Can't get enough.
I want to eat your photo:)))))
Thanks for sharing.
(I'd like to read the book you're reading right now- thanks for the Title!)
Have a wonderful new week!
Oh! This looks so delicious and beautiful!!! It makes me happy that we both love avocados so much.
ReplyDeleteOogy's story sounds absolutely amazing.
Thanks H. Love yah!
ReplyDeleteHi Heidi! I've just spent a few minutes enjoying a look around here and wanted to say it's nice to "meet" you! The avocado and chives combo is one I have not tried yet, but it makes for a pretty offering though! Thanks so much for your sweet comment over at my site. I am now your follower too! ~Lili
ReplyDeleteIt is weird, but I also love avocados, but I can only eat them with lots of other stuff. By themselves I am allergic to them and my throat gets all itchy and it can even be a little scary. But I still try to eat them when ever I can!
ReplyDeleteThank you for visiting Our Little Corner Of Paradise this year, Heidi :)
ReplyDeleteJust popped by during the run up to Christmas to wish you all the best, and happy photography in 2011…WG :)
