Summer in Indiana

Indiana summers are full of sunshine, hot and very humid. Many times the humidity is higher than the temperature. Out in the country you will see huge never ending corn and soybean fields.

I am reading the book: "Eat, Pray, Love" right now and I am enjoying it. Looking forward to seeing the movie.

Today is my last Monday off, so that means the end of my 3-day weekends.

Got to go, have to cut the basil and make some pesto.

Indiana Bridges

This one was kind of scary...suspended from these steel cables only, quite a lot of movement when crossing it, but very beautiful...

We went for a ride on Sunday afternoon and re-discovered these fabulous bridges. They are so beautiful.

I just got back from Zumba lessons...I really enjoy it...might sign up for Pilates next...

Do you watch HGTV?...It is one of my fav channels and my fav show is House Hunters, of course. My fav designer is David Bromstad and his show Color Splash. I love his designs.

We had lunch at "El Meson" (www.elmesonmexicanrestaurant.com) and it was delicious. The Margarita wasn't bad either.

Another trip to Indy...

We went to Indy again last Monday to Trader Joe's (love all the organics there), Panera, and Stein Mart (I got a new purse)...some of my fav stores...we ate at a new little greek restaurant right next to Stein Mart on 86th Street, it was delicious...

We are having super warm temperatures and my container garden is flourishing...

I am reading Jhumpa Lahiri's books right now, great reads...What are you reading currently?...
