This is the start of my three-day weekends, I will be working longer hours Tuesday through Friday for the next 10 weeks, so that I can enjoy having Mondays off...hooray...I am looking so forward to this...

At the Garden Center

It was a warm, but rainy day today...I went to the garden center to get vegetable plants, herbs, and more flowers to plant...lots of people had the same idea...

And I also went to my favorite store T.J.Maxx and yes, I am a Maxxinista...

Flower garden around my house

I have been quite busy these past few weeks and can't wait to get outside and plant some more...

My yellow corner and old dresser

I love these heart tins I got them and the lamp at a store in Alpena, Michigan, where I used to live. The soap was a gift from my friend Diana. The candlestick I found locally.

The dresser is old (1920's or 1930's) and needs to be refurbished. There is also a mirror that goes with it (needs lots of work, though). Both pieces were made by Showers Furniture in Bloomington, Indiana. My husband bought it at an antique store there.

I like its deep drawers, fits lots of stuff...
